Abstract

Introduction: Information and Communication Technology (ICT), as one of the innovations of modern human technology, has not only undergone changes, but is also rapidly influencing human life. In recent years, the use of Web 2 has become widespread, while individuals have little knowledge of these tools. The present research specifically seeks to examine students' knowledge, attitude and skill in Web 2.0.
Method: In terms of purpose, study is applied and in terms of execution, it is an evaluation research. The statistical population consisted of 4590 students from the faculties of chemistry, psychology, education and engineering; of which, 400 were selected using Cochran's e sampling table and with simple random sampling method and data were collected using self-assessment questionnaire. Cronbach's reliability obtained 0.95. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (one sample T test).
Results: The results showed that the knowledge readiness was at the optimum level, the attitude preparation was undesirable and skillful was at the optimal level. One-Way ANOVA also showed that there is not a significant difference between the fields of study in terms of the mean of knowledge readiness variables in the components of social networks, Wikipedia, Podcast, Mash ups and Messenger, but in the components of the blogs, RSS and clouding there is a significant difference; therefore at least there is a significant difference between the two mean of readiness knowledge in these three groups.
